Maison Gersdorff Foundation is a private foundation focusing to identify, develop, produce and disseminate solutions that meet the agri-food industry’s challenges of today and tomorrow.

More specifically, the foundation will be focusing on three main axes:

  • Socio-professional insertion: assist in professional integration of young and older people from all backgrounds through practical and theoretical training in different areas of employment (girafe namuroise, kitchen, hospitality).
  • Sustainable food: including permaculture, aquaponics, hydroponics, computerised greenhouses, use of renewable or local energies driving for responsible and accessible food production.
  • Education: partnerships with local schools, scientists, social entrepreneurship network and start-ups to create a didactic and interactive environment suitable for all ages in order to present different possible and profitable solutions to agribusiness drifts.
